Beastman coin use..?

I recall reading a long time ago that the coins that were stolen off Yagudo's and such was quite valuable... I'm just wondering if I'm either just missing something, or that my memory is faulty.

They sell for 100 at the auction house currently, and the only use I could find for them is a low-level blacksmith recipee...

3 types

There are three types of beastmen coins:

Beastmen Coins > materials for bronze ingots
Bestmen Silver Coins > materials for silver ingots
Bestmen Gold Coins > materials for gold ingots

I suppose you mean these silver ingots and gold ingots.

There are 4 actually. The three previously mentioned and one other. Mythril Beast coins. They are dropped by Quadavs in Rolanbarry Fields i do believe.

IIRC, there's a quest in muahara that gives 600gil for a beastman coin.
