Taking a break for a few months

My final exams are coming up and I'll have to study like hell to take them (extremly hard). Because of that there won't be mucht time to play left, so I decided to quit playing for a few (about 3 months) until my exams are over. Of course I don't want to pay any money for these 3 months, but I also don't want my character to be deleted or so.

Is there a way to keep my character without paying 1280Yen a month?

That is so smart of you to take a break for finals, but 3 months??

Just play and keep you character. Show a little self control, and only play when you have the time and not building your whole day around the game.

As far as "pausing" your account and character, I am unable to help you there.

just go to content ID section and cancel the account. I heard that your character will remain in the server for a year or something...

i know that you can suspend your account. that's how people sell their accounts. i'm sure someone here knows how. if not, there are GMs who know pretty good english here and there, maybe you can ask them?

The exams on my school are quite hard. The preperation will take me at least 2 months of continuous study. Moreover I'll move to Japan and enter a japanese university as soon a I graduate. There is a lot of organisation stuff to do. I don't think there will be any time for playing FFXI.

If anyone knows how the suspension of the account works, pls post.
