Character naming

What are the rules of naming characters? Can you name your character the same as a npc or server?

not sure about the maximum number of characters...but i know that you can't use names of previous Final Fantasy characters, and i doubt you can use NPC's names. i believe you can have one space and one uppercase letter at the beginning of your name.

someone correct me and fill in what i missed. :p

Can you use the name of a server as your chracter's name?
