How do I give items to NPCs

I target the NPC, go into my inventory, and there's no option to "give" or "deliver". A little help please?

Trade.

You target them go into your main menu then I think it's the 7th option down under party then that will bring up boxes then put the item in there and hit the ! to confirm the trade.
