Saitou's Misadventures

Well, following the popular Journals of Nodachi and Miles, I've also decided to start my own Journal about my own journeys in Vana D'Iel. The accounts are all true and documented with my pokecam. All persons, NPCS, and monsters are not depicted by actors.

I am very new to the game so try to bear with me. My character name is Saitou (Warrior) and I reside at Ragnarok San D'Oria. His dream is to become a Dragoon and then a Summoner. His adventure starts when he tries to reach level 10.

So here I was, adventuring in West Ronfaure. Killing Forest Hare, Wild RAbbts, Tunnel Worms and DIng bats and all of a sudden a dastardly Orc tries to kill me. I tried to run away and much good did that do to me. I was killed several times before I even reached level 5. TO make it worse, THe ORc Grappler brought his best fried the Goblin Thug. I kept myself around the palace area till I was strong enough to head further down south West Ronfaure. When I finally hit level 7, I was able to go up against those bastards. I spotted an Orc and I went after him. After a fierce battle, I finally won. I felt a sense of accomplishment knowing that I killed one of Shrek's relatives.

My 1st PT

After being bored and alone, I finally decided to join a party. Most of my fellow LS (Wolves of Vana D'Iel) were already high in level so I couldnt really join them.

I got together with some people that I just met and we started a leveling journey. We left the reservation and started our adventures as a team.

Our first encounter was this Akababa creature. It kinda reminded me of one of those pokemon guys. I spotted it and we started raping it. It took a few shots and spell casting but this Akababa knew that his/her demise was coming.

After a pretty hefty beating, here comes Kisho, one of our cohorts decide to finish off the poor bastard.

Poor Akbaba, all it ever did was fly around and maybe pester a few adventurers. While he did drop us a nice treasure, I couldnt help it but feel sorry for creatures such as Akbaba.

After slaughtering many Orcs, Grapplers, Akababa's I started getting a bit big headed. I couldnt stop slaying these unsuspecting bastards. One such bastard was "Grenade". I charged after Grenade with a companion (Rylue). We thought, "Hey this would be an easy prey!". Without checking, we attacked this creature. The other party members tried to warn us but it was too late, we've engaged the enemy .To our surprise, this particular creature is FREAAGIN STRONG!!. We both got whooped and killed.

Thats what happens to hard headed Lv 7 warriors. They die a horrible death by a hand of unsuspecting creatures such as "Grenades".

Anyway, none of my party members wanted to wait for two idiot members. So the party leader, Pesh, decided to run around and look for a mage that can do a revive spell cast. Lady luck was with us that there was a RDM around and we were able to get her to revive the both of us. Thanks to TaruPanda's abilities, we were both back to life in no time.

Heres a quick pick of TaruPanda, my savior of that moment. Her native tongue is Japanese but her english was not bad. Rylue acted as the translator since she can speak both Japanese and english.

After getting our strenghts back from that ridiculous Grenade battle, we set out farther out of the reservation. I cant believe how vast this land was till I actually went out with a party.

We found this weird creature at La Theine Plateu , we gauged it and it was a tough opponent..we decide to kill it and see what kind of item or XP it will drop.

It took us well over a minute to beat this creature. But I guess that comes along the journey out of the Kingdom. But with enough spell castings and beat downs, this creature was going down for the count.

In th mighty words of Miles, "We raped that creature".

And thats exactly what we did.

My quest to level 10 is a hard and daunting task. XP's are hard to come by and the monsters/creatures arent making things easier for us San D'Orians. I kept dying every 5 minutes, which kept pushing back my XP meter lower. My fellow Wolves told me to just stay within West Ronfaure and just kill the easy prey. I had to swallow my pride for a bit and thats what I did.

On my way back to town, I came across this poor TaruTaru. Is it me or does he look like a trick or treater thats out of season?! I didnt just want to leave this poor TaruTaru so I decided to go around and look for a Mage. It took me a while to do it but I finally found someone that would help this person out.

After using his mad skills as a mage, Arufa performs his Revive spell cast and revives the fallen TaruTaru back on his feet.

Finally, I am nearing level 10. I am around 50 XP away from it and I am getting excited. So here I was, looking around for my next victim and all of a sudden, I see this group taking out a large creature. By the time I got there, they were getting slaughtered but at the same time the creature was also 3/4 dead. They decided to run from the creature and re-group. I, on the other hand wanted to commemorate my kill by taking care of this creature myself. I used up my weapon skill and job skill to finally finish off this creature and I hit LEVEL 10!!!!

I set out back home and reported back to Endracion for completing my current Mission (M3). I also wanted to get new armors, weapons and such for myself. I headed for the auction house and bid on new gears. I spent about a good 6430 gils and put my level 7 items up for sale.

Here it is folks, the new and improved Saitou! Now in level 10 kung fu grip action.
