Hey guys, after not having posted something for you guys for the longest time I finally decided to get off my lazy FFXI playing ass and write something up. Actually I have not played much, the most I play in one week is probably down to 4-5 hours now, I have very little time, my brother VeXx is the stupid FFXI addict that is always online with my character and now has created his own by the name of "Ecko" (I thought of it and I got it from my shirt, you guys know the Ecko shirts right?) and my bro will probably be making a crap load of journals soon, he allready finished the chocobo one quite a while ago, he has just not put it up because I have not looked over it and added things to it, that is the reason he has not put it up but I will go over it very soon and he will have it up in no time. Well enough talk....lets get to the good stuff.

Carnage awoke, in the middle of a beach with only a faint picture of what had happened the night before. He got up and started walking around looking at his surroundings as he tried to remember what had happened the day before. As he walked along the windy beach he spotted a beach pugil and at that very moment he remembered what had occurred the night before. Carnage had been battling in a full party. They had gone for hours the night before taking down very powerful monsters like the one that stood before him. Carnage had even reached level 21. Feeling re-energized Carnage stretched and began his long run to the big city known as SanDoria. As Carnage ran through the deserted beaches of Valkrum he checked his linkpearl to see who was on but sadly no one at his level that he could party with was online. Carnage took his map out and noticed he was almost to LaThaine and as he was checking he was ambushed by a very strong Goblin, he panicked and ran as fast as he possibly could to the entrance and although he was being attacked he knew in his mind that he would make it to the load point just in time. Carnage was down to a little less than 100 HP when he passed the load point and reemerged in LaThaine. Carnage gave a sigh of relief and rested until he was to full health and awed over the beauty of LaThaine. Once rested Carnage got up and continued his journey through the green lands of LaThaine and while running noticed a huge ram and decided to see what kind it was. As he got closer he realized it was a battering ram and not knowing if the battering ram was aggressive he decided it was safer if he just kept going so he waved at the ram and continued his journey. In no time he had reached the gates of SanDoria and he made his way in and headed towards the local Auction House to check on his items. To his delight they had all sold and he had made a good profit. Carnage went to his mog house and dropped off his excess items and while in his mog house he received a message from a fellow importer looking to join the Army Of Darkness and after a short while of talking Carnage decided to go to Bastok to deliver a linkpearl to the person. Carnage exited his mog house and made his way towards the local chocobo stables were he picked up a chocobo and made his journey to Bastok. Now normally a journey to bastok would take a good amount of time running but on his chocobo he reached Bastok in no time and delivered the linkpearl. While in bastok he took down some Quadavs in the hope of getting them to drop their shells which sell in the auction house for a good 1000+ gil and luckily he was able to get 2 of the bastards to drop them. While Carnage was battling he received a message from his good friend Xrhstos asking him if he wanted to party by jueno and having nothing better to do he agreed and headed into bastok to get a chocobo to ride to jueno. In no time Carnage had reached Jueno and he joined Xrhstos and the rest of the party. The party was going to level in an area by the name of Quimf (sp?) that Carnage had never been to before. They entered Quimf and Carnage realized that he would never survive if he was there alone as all the monsters there were tote tote. The party made their way to an area were they would run around in circles until they would spot a worm and attack cause the worms were the only monsters that they could take down. The party hunted and hunted and as the party rested Carnage was soon attacked by a monster known as a Wight (sp?) and was almost killed but luckily Xrhstos healed him in time. The monster was way too strong for our party so the leader of our party called on the help of other party?fs close by but sadly 2 of our party members were killed in action. At one point while battling the skeleton Carnage was about to be killed yet again and one of the party members yelled ?gRun Carnage RUN!?h but Carnage being the blood thirsty warrior that he was stayed because he figured, even if I run, I am too low on HP to make it and besides, he did not know the way back but he got lucky and Xrhstos was able to heal him right before he died and had saved him once again. Soon the skeleton was taken down, bow?fs were exchanged and we made our way back to were we were battling. The party continued to take down monsters and soon the party split. Carnage then made his way to Windurst and on his way there he decided to make a stop at Tahrongi Canyon were he hoped to get some skins and bones from the Dal?fs which sell for a decent amount of money in the auction house and after filling up on skins and bones he made his way towards Windurst. When Carnage finally reached Windurst he decided it was time to level up his white mage so he went to his mog house, changed jobs and started leveling. After reaching level 4 he decided to call it quits for the day and logged off. The day was a good day for Carnage as he had gained one level on his warrior and reached level 4 on his white mage. Hope you guys enjoyed.

Well just go online and contact me via AIM I'm Sasetsunohadou.
Oh yeah Carnage, i forgot to tell ya, KEEP THE installation file I sent you, and CHANGE THE FOLLOWING SETTINGS:

In the options menu, go to Startup and Tray Icon and click everything.

That's it. Well if it gets gay again and reasks for a serial and the SN.txt doesn't work, just go to Control Panel and delete Hypersnap using CUSTOM delete, (delete all files) and then bust out the zip file I gave you and it ought to work right back up again. Remember, change the settings to those cuz it rarely (if ever) gays up and reasks for the serial if its always minimized to the tray. :p

The Best setup for Hypersnap when playing FFXI

IGNORE STEPS 1 and 2 if you've never installed Hypersnap before

Ok first things first, if you want to get rid of the stamp:

                      1st,
If you have any version of hypersnap go to:
                      Start Menu-ControlPanel-Add/Remove Programs-Hypersnap-Remove

                      2nd,
Click Custom Removal and keep clicking Select All on everypage and highlighting every file until Hypersnap is completely gone. Double check in Add/Remove Programs to make sure no Hypersnap appears on the list.

                      3rd,
Get this version from Kazaa, it is named:
HyperSnap-DX 4.50.02-FULL.exe (KEEP THIS FILE EVEN AFTER YOU INSTALL HYPERSNAP)

                      4th,
Click install, it will unzip files to a folder named Hypersnap4.52.02hyprsnap as well as a file named SN.txt Go into the folder and click on HS4Setup.exe. Install and click Run Hypersnap on the last page.

                      5th,
Hypersnap's box will appear, choose the option Read license from file. In the Browser box, click the File Type to All Files and select the SN.txt. Upon acceptance, it will ask if you want to make a backup of the licsence, click No and exit

Future steps: Eventually, hypersnap will reask you for the licesnce and the SN.txt won't work. Don't worry there is a way around this.

                      1st step,
                      Go to:
                      Start Menu-ControlPanel-Add/Remove Programs-Hypersnap-Remove

                      2nd,
Click Custom Removal and keep clicking Select All on everypage and highlighting every file until Hypersnap is completely gone. Double check in Add/Remove Programs to make sure no Hypersnap appears on the list.

                      3rd,
Reopen HyperSnap-DX 4.50.02-FULL.exe and do the same stuff over again. The only annoying thing is you have to redo all your settings again.

Getting the best settings for Hypersnap

With Hypersnap open, go to Options tab, click Configure Hotkeys. I usually set all shortcuts after the first one to Delete, which disables them. I usually select Home for the key, its simple and rarely used. Click Startup and Tray Icon on the Options tab and check all boxes so you never have to open Hypersnap from the Start menu and it also greatly delays the time before you have to reinstall it again.

With Hypersnap open, go to Capture tab, click Capture settings at the bottom. On the first page named Capture, uncheck the boxes for "Play Sound when making snapshot" and "Restore Hypersnap DX window to front after capture". This will prevent FFXI from disconnecting when you make a capture. You can also change the milliseconds delay from 500 to about 250-100 for split second snapshots. Click on the last tab named Quick Save while in the Capture settings and check "Automatically save each snapshot to file". Also check "Increment file name, start at 0". You can also pick the directory to save all your files by clicking on Change. In addition to this, you can change the file type you save it to (I use jpeg because its good quality and little memory). Remember to click Appy when your done.

That's about it, it should run quite smoothly with those tiny adjustments
