Maximillian, Evolution of Paladin

Following the trend of alot of people here and a few of my friend's, I decided to make a journal. I kinda made a vow to myself to do so once I hit 60 :sweat: This journals mostly gonna be about my early days, the mid life years, then the final conclusion of obtaining all my AF gear, and become 60. This's also gonna be a few pics concerning my LS WolvesOfVanaDiel, and a brief and minor history of which. Well, lets get the show on the road..

Of course, early Photo's are gonna contain, Orc's, Pugil's, and a helluva lot of rabbits. Nodachi being the creator of the LS guided me through Sandoria to Ronfaure so I could start leveling, at the time I had no clue how to find my friends or if they were online, so the 1st few days were lonley and rough...w Btw, abuse the Pugils in East Ronfaure for there low HP and awesome Exp in the early years XD

My 1st level up, prior to having the game, I knew not of the LevelUp music, I did'nt know it would be the same as the console games, it's quite a joy to hear this music every level you gain, just cause it's so dam cool.

We eventually found eachother and met near the gates of WestRonfaure. Here the WolvesOfVanaDiel became to fruition and the LS was getting a population. I believe at the time it consisted of, Nodachi, Me , Cobbi (who wasent here for this pic :sweat: ) Unastrike, and Januz. Jan and Una went off to party and level, while Nodachi changed job's to Monk, and helpd me start on my Warrior.

Noda began guiding me around WestRon, this being my 1st MMO, its kinda overwhelming hearing about the size of the game, and all there is to explore. Prior to this, I played PSO1 and 2 on Dreamcast, and the GC version...alot...I mean like ALOT. I met Noda on PSO1 about 3 years ago due to our fandom of BladeOfTheImmortal, and we had the same B-Day, we continued on through PSO2 for DC, and killed PSO for GC, then gave it up. Noda had the bravery to import FFXI for PC, while I was skeptical and was nervous of such a costly purchase. After very little convincing later on, I upgraded my PC to holy hell, and bought the game. Huge props and thanks to Noda for convincing me to buy the game, you rule bude! ( > o<)b

Duuuaaal Leveling A-GOgo, we did this all the way up to level 6. It was cool cause I was starting to have a feel for the game and its atmousphere and physics, and was starting to get the hang of it, Nodachi had to take off at the time, so it gave my a chance to give soloing a try~

And I was in the grooooove~Every time you level is a celebration, unlike PSO leveling /sigh. Januz let me know that once I hit 7, I get an armor and weapon upgrade, I bolted back to Sandoria to meet up with him..

Unfortunatly, cash is a hard thing to come by early on if you dont know what your doin, I could only afford the chest and headband, but Jan had been leveling the entire day before me, and spoted me the cash to buy the rest YES! No longer am I a townsfolk...im a different looking warrior'ish townsfolk!

WOW!every time i read a journal i think, this is even better than the last journal i read! i never get tired of readin' them and by the way, your character looks UBER-KOOL in that warrior armor!!!

And for the time being, thing's were good, and alot eaiser with my armor upgrade, soloing these early 1-10 levels is highly recomended, if you get a party, make it consist of 2 people, anything above that is to much at this age.

The next day Nodachi decided to take us on a Linkshell vacation to LaTheine. I had never been past the forest of Ronfaure, and at my level, I should start seeing some of the new things the game has to offer.

Woah..big mountain, rock, tower looking thang I didnt know what to make of it, atm I thought it was a shrine of some sort :sweat: . Nodachi explained it to be "A Crag", places where WhiteMages can teleport people across the world, rent chocobos from, and good meeting points for Partys. There are several of these Crags located across the planet, making it eaiser in later levels for partys to travel long distances and get to the place to earn decent exp. If you see a Crag, touch the Crystal on either the NorthSouthEast or West bases of the formation, doing this you can allow a Whm to port you to that crag you touched
