OK, so funny thing happened today.
I came home from my vacation in Ottawa, and I was quite suprised to find the PC Beta from Nvidia lying on my bed...
Of course, the G-Force FX card I ordered hasn't arrived yet, so I couldn't play with a Radeon 7000
So, I gave the PC beta to my friend, and we've been playing it for a little while; I think i'm getting the hang of it.
Then, I checked my email and found out that I was accepted into the Gamer Advisory Panel offer for the PS2 beta!
So I'll start playing that when it arrives next week.
But anywho, I started a character today, her name is KawaiiTarutaru...I dunno why it wouldn't let me use Paipai...I sure hope it'll let me in the full version!
So, kawaiitarutaru arrived in Windurst late in the day. She was informed by one of the guards that she was needed to help regain land taken over by the beastmen. After spending about an hour trying to figure out how the game works, kawaii joined a PT with a fellow Taru newbie
We fought Rabas, Bumblebees and Tiny Mandragoras, until we eventually added another Tarutaru to our PT, a white mage. We explored the Sarutuburata area a little, then continued fighting to gain experience. Unfortunately, after defeating an unsuspecting Raba, a Yagudo Initiator came and beat the crap out of all of us...aaah!
So, that was my first little adventure. It's nothing big, but I'll resume when my friend is done playing....
So if you'd like, add me to your friends list with Kawaiitarutaru, and I'll see if we can join up some time I'll start adding pictures once my PS2 beta arrives!
