If you were low level I would take that offer. I've sold two from my bazaar for 10k each, but I've also sold one for at least 500 (gave me 1500) and one for 1000. They were both probably around LV30.

I also remembered that when you breed chocobos, you get a cutscene that shows them both. At least at that point, people will know that I didn't rip them off. I'm also selling them on my main character (not a mule), so that adds some credibility.

One thing that hasn't been brought up yet: for at least two weeks, nobody will even know if black (or blue) chocobos breed true.

In other words, the chick of two black parents might not even grow up to be black...

Too much of chocobo raising is still mysterious at this point to even state with confidence that color is predetermined in the egg. Perhaps that's one of the reasons they made it express late, because it's dependent on how you raise it?

Some people probably will pay more just for the chance, of course - I even know someone who's retiring his yellow chocobo *now* in order to get another chocobo that he *hopes* will be black. (Haven't decided yet if I should offer my black chocobo's...er...services; since it may not be guaranteed to work even with a black sire, I don't want to be in an awkward position later.)

In a few weeks, I doubt colored chococards will be worth much more then mabye 5k for those who really want them. on the other hand, mabye a year or two from now, certain chococards might bust 2 mil if the chocobo is a champion racer.

I think you just give them the environment, and let hormones do the rest*. I don't want to see it though...
