As others have said, it counts each craft seperately. I favor the dual skillup synths since I can skillup two crafts on one synth, however there are not many dual skillup synths that I'd use.
For instance it used to be more expensive to buy Animal Glue off the AH, and more time costly to farm and make it than it was to just buy Flax Flowers, synth up the Linen Cloth, and make Soil Hachimakis for skillups and roughly break even profit. So when I leveled weaving I did not consider the Fly Lure synth to be worthwhile, that may not be the case anymore so the Fly Lure synth may be more attractive.
