  • Goldsmithing 50 + 1 mil ?

Ok I've read several goldsmithing guides and i'm wondering..
Right now i'm almost lvl 52 goldsmithing and have 1 mil to lvl it up.

i'm planning to lvl it up to lvl 60.
My question.. Would 1 mil bring me to lvl 60 ?

Making gold ingots and selling them back to auction house till 53, then make lvl 36 rings which should take me to 55. no big worries about that but lvl 55-60 is golden hairpins and that would take ALOT of money... I hope 1 mil is enough for it.

No one can really tell you because it all depends on several things. First of all, what is the economy on your server like? How do you plan on going about it? How many breaks do you think you'll get? Any HQs? How much will each synth gain/lose?

Instead of answering all these, do something just a tad bit easier: research. You're lvl 52 in a craft, and you have 1 mil gil. Go to Allakhazam or Mysterytour, look at the recipe lists, find out each ingredient, then go to your local AH, check out the prices of ingredients compared to the end product, and bam. You can then decide on your own whether or not you think you'll hit 60. AND if you do this, you'll be learning some good skills later on because it's highly looked down upon when someone of a skill 60+ in a craft asks "How far will XXX gil take me when i'm at YY level?" or "What do I skill up on at YY level?" Intelligence is your friend, use it wisely =P If you don't want to research because that will take time, then just stick to the guides and see where that goes. You could get lucky and end up okay, or you could lose all your gil in just 5 levels.

But to answer your question, probably if you're dilligent and willing to spend several weeks selling everything off. But then again, I'm not on your server so I can't really tell you. Only your own research can *hint hint* Good luck.

My buddy just spent $350k getting from 54.2 to 54.9. I don't think $1M is going to get you to 60.
      You know I'm right.
