whats the best craft for me?

I am looking to get into a craft that in later levels i can make my gil by mainly selling to npcs. I hear blacksmith is good in this regard, im just lookin for any feedback. I can farm 60k very fast so this isnt a huge issue for me (i hate farming lol, looking to put into something so i dont have to farm later on).

not talkin about fishing. I hear blacksmith doing dark steel picks is nice.

Well I would suggest Fishing, and at least one other skill to Lv.50-60 range.

Fishing, as boring as it can be, can also completely eliminate your need to farm at all. Just spend 3-4 hours fishing, and you're set for a week.

As far as a guild. Smithing guilds can make you a rather good chunk of gil, but it will take you a while before you can start being profitable from what I've heard. For me I haven't really touched any of those Smithing guilds due to the fact none of the ore stack. Just becomes bothersome for me.

I went with Cooking, and I'm really glad I did. Helped me out as a mage making all the Juice as I leveled up. But once I could make baits and other useful items (Like pies, streamed crab, mithkabobs, etc) I started making a steading profit. With growing items, my profits were about 85-90%. You may be able to do some of the same if you mine or grow your items. But you may find that it takes a while to really rely on your smithing to pay for your "way of life."

im a 66 drk that is missing just two items and then im done gear wise. I wana spend the gil i farm now on a craft that so after 100 or so levels i can retire from farming. im probably going to do blacksmith but im not 100% sure on this. I was thinkin of gold but it seems very expensive and everyone i know who crafts gold has all kinds of gil issues.
