Question on multiple guilds post 60

Im not quite sure on this but ive heard that you can only take your any given guild to 60, and then after that you have to choose one guild and can only take that post 60, is there some truth in that?

Like when i passed the 60 test for woodworking, the NPC starts talking about only bieng able to specialize in one particular guild or something, then sometime later i hear from ppl that thier skill lvls got reset back to 60 (they had higher then 60) once they started skilling something else to 60+....

You can't only take one guild past 60 but there is a limit to how far you can take them past that point.

You only have 40 guild skill points to use to get any guild past level 60. So you could only take 1 to level 100 but you coud take 2 to level 80 instead or 4 to level 70, or any other compernation you see fit.

Fishing isn't included in this and can be taken as high as you wish without affecting other skills.

Once you try to level a skill after you've spent all 40 extra points other guilds will start to level down. Some people reset a selected skill to 60 in order to free up point so they can control where the points are lost from and not from another skill they wish to keep.
