There are guides to get woodworking to 100, just look for them. As for the cheapest way, it's basically the same for everyone from lvls 1-59, and it is not at all expensive. After 59 it gets very expensive, there isn't really any "cheap way". There are already so many woodworkers relative to other guilds that any synths which otherwise would be break-even, or god forbid PROFITABLE, there is a surplus for almost every one of those synths on (I'd imagine) every server. It's true that guilds like smithing and gold cost more to raise, but when people say that, what they really mean is that you need more money to get started. A lot of the synths from other crafts ARE break even or profitable. Most of the synths in wood are next to worthless so you'll have to take a fairly large loss.

My answer is basically this: Find a guide for woodworking 1-59. Once you get to 59, you are completely on your own if you want the cheapest skillpath, because it is almost entirely dependent on your server's current economy. For some levels there are trends, but for the most part it's looking for the synth that will deal you the softest blow. -
You don't seriously expect to get everything handed to you on a silver platter?
There's like 4-5 posts on this forum regarding getting woodcraft up to 70-90+. Use the search function.
