Goldsmith Cost 18-50

Can any 50+ goldsmithers give a cost estimate for leveling my skill from 18- 50?... I'm not looking for exact numbers. I guessing around 600-800k? Though I feel it might be more...

Also whats the best day to de-syth on? lighting? darks? some even say light... ehh... just a bonus question I guess...

About a million or less possibly depending on sythesis results and if you are willing to wait on items to get back most of your gil.

I've gotten 18-24 with breaking even pretty much. Sabiki Rigs, Silver Arrowheads are what managed it. Silver Arrowheads can take you up to 27. Past 27 though, I have yet to figure out a way to level it without losing massive amounts of gil..

I have 45 Goldsmithing and would say that in total lose I am at is around 800k. It will probably cost me another 200k to get 5 more points depending on my luck. 1mil more would be a low estimate to get from 50-60 probably. Goldsmithing is not for the faint of heart. I have a few other skills to fall back on and took a few alternate skill routes starting in the low 20s to minimize lose but it is damn expensive.

If you take this skill beyond 30 or so you have to be doing it for the long haul. It really REALLY pays off in the 70s but you have to have an enormous initial investment to get there and large amounts of time. You can't powersynth Goldsmithing.
