Cannot apply to Carpentry Guild

[Brutalys]

It seems I have now a problem. I can apply to Smithing and Leathercraft guilds in San d'Oria, but for the Carpentry guild, I can't. I am now level 9, and they don't accept the Workbench I crafted for the Recruit Rank. Can we dissmiss from a Guild to apply to another? I think I missed something. Help me out, please.
Thanks.
