Sorry,,,I'm a little new at this. I've planted my seeds (grain) and it's groing fine. But I heard you can use crystals when you garden, is this true? When can you use crystals, and are you able to plant them?

Depending on what you plant, after a certain time, when you look at the top, it will have an option to 'feed crystal'.

The type of crystal, and the day you feed it on effect what you gather.

Assuming your using vegetable or grain seeds, it will take a day or 2 before feed crystal shows up. There are lots of gardening guides around, here's one to read up on:

Grain seeds need their crystals the soonest - I've seen as little as 8 hours (all time measurements earth time). *Warning: Grain seeds will usually wither within 36-48 hours if not fed.* Vegetable and herb usually need to be fed a couple days after planting. In general if you have any gardening you should check it at least every 24 hours - you won't always need to do something, but if you do, you may have no more than 24 hours to do it.

IIRC, this is then balanced out by grain seeds taking longer to mature *after* the crystal, so the overall plant-to-harvest time is pretty similar across all three basic seed types.

I haven't done anything with fruit, cactus or trees yet.
