Charging for those services are very different from the real world... people here they can benefit themselves by skilling up or steal items, etc, while people in the real world offer their services so they can live. You don't need that in this game, there's many other methods of earning money.

If you offer to get people items/coffer keys for 10k, i see it as you can solo those things by yourself and not require any other help. If you can't, don't charge, because there's other people there helping in the party without pay.

If people are willing to pay for you helping them, go ahead, but many people agree with my views. Here's something you can do out of niceness, but you're charging for it... If the person is willing to pay for your time, thats great. demanding it is greed.

After all, they can just ask another person and they'll most likely do it for free.

And some would consider a person that wants you to help them kill the summons for free a leech. Sorry, but demanding money for the time to kill an avatar isn't greedy, it is smart business. Just like the guy sitting in dunes, qufim tower, and yhoator jungle selling food for 1.5X AH price.

The people helped SHOULD be compensated. The problem is that there are too many greedy players asking for help, not the other way around.

I'm not a WHM, but how do you feel on them charging for Teleports and Raise? If you think about it, the spells are VERY expensive, and the time it takes to teleport someone out of their way and warp or chocobo back is a real pain in the ass. I don't mind paying for that service. Often, higher level characters like to help low level characters because it's fun. Personally, I like helping others as a higher level, it's easy and fun. P.S. I don't charge.
