What level is it safe to start desynthing them? I'm at 41 now.

if gold ingots are 50 , i bet desynthing gold orc mask to ingot will be alot higher 60+.
i dont know for a fact thought just guessing

I hunt these with a friend for money sometimes. He has 51 goldsmithing, his success rate is about 1/4 and gets ingots out of about 50% of the masks we find. He actually gets HQ very often too but it is still only 1 ingot.

Me and my friend went and got 2 an hour... but when you kill all the troopers and you have to kill others to make troopers respawn it takes a lot of time.

I hunt troopers in castle zvahl instead of davoi. Usally 5-6 orc masks an hour. But its very dangerous, sometimes they link over edges for no reason and a mob of like 15-20 orcs will just come running at you out of no where.

monastic cavern also works

you'll usually have to clear a path to pull back to the tunnel tho, so unless you luck out with a trooper spawn in tunnel it'll be clear tunnel > clear path > pull trooper

there's 2 in tunnel, but you really only need to kill the one that's near the exit of the entrance tunnel~

Not rare at all, its just the problem with others stealing your Orc's
