help stuck on lvl 12 gold smithing!

just like what the title says....i tried doing silver ingots but was not succesful at all, maybe 1/4 or 5 would be good. lvling on wind+brass ingot is slow.

what lvl should i start crafting silver ingots?

I'm stuck as well. >.< I wish someone would make a GS thread for 1-[whatever] like Cooking and Blacksmithing, but I haven't seen many goldsmiths here. ; ;

Your doing the right synth. I made silver ingots from 12-20. If you are failing alot at 12 check a few things: Are you using adv. synth support? Are you synthing on lightday or fireday?

If you are doing both of the above you may want to try making the ingots out of silver beastcoins instead of ore, this takes a little less skill, although I have never needed to use this method.

Also, losing tons of money should be expected. It cost me 65,000gil to go from 30-33 goldsmith, and by looking at the AH prices I know the cost is going to keep raising.

oic i didnt use the adv syn, but now i'm lvl 14 and i don't have that much problem crafting silver ingots. how much silver beastcoins to craft silver ingots?

do u know at what lvl this pays off?
