What's the best guild for Mage?

Hi, I am a newbie starting out as a BLM and wanting to WHM sub.

Which guild should i put more effort into? I actually want to develope some "better" weapons for my TaruTaru. Like a stuff or something? Any suggestions?

cooking is best for mage. Hands down

I know cooking is good for pretty much every job/race

but i mean, for weapons and armor...

cooking and weaver. Weavers can make almost all the clothes mages can use.
