a few questions about goldsmithing

1. im currently at lvl 20 and stuck there not knowing what to make, from 1-10 ive made brass and copper ingots with profit and 10-20 i made silver ingots with really good profit., what is good to make 20-30, ive looked at the guides and they all contridict eachother.

2. What level can i start making mythril ingots

3. At higher levels, what items make you profit in goldsmithing and at what level would it be around???

* Id say to craft mythril ingots at 50 and to continue that until your skill level 70 and switch to platnimum and start ranking in the cash. DOONT forget to give ur buddy setheron some of that hardcore cash

how did you get profit making copper and brass ingots im right now trying to get 72 pieces of wood and crystals and fletchlings its hell ....


you can make earings using a silver earing. an earth crystal. and a gem.. or you can take 2 brass scales. a cotton thread. dhamel leather, and leather gloves to make brass finger gauntlet im thinking that hardest because its last on the list

here is wat i suggest (i assume you have recipes) :

20~22 make silver pierce (not a good thing to make because there is no profit but it is the best thing to make)

~25 making gem earrings. Of all the earrings, onxy pierce would be the one that will cost you to lose the least gil to make. The other earrings are hardly bought off the AH.

~27 silver hairpin (cheap and good recipe. You may wanna start making this from lvl 23. Can be broken down using thunder crystal to get back silver ingot)

~32 silver ring (similar to making silver pierce, they won't yield profits but they won't cost you to lose too much)

Mithril ingot is synthesisd usually from lvl 35 till 38 with mithril coins or till lvl 40 with mithril ores. Above these 2 lvls, you will not gain any skill points from making mithril ingot from either mithril ore or mithril coins.

To make profits, making silver ingots from ores bought off gold smith guild or mithril ores cheaply bought of AH will yield you resonable profits at low lvl till early mid lvls. From mid lvls till 70, you will realise tat GS isn't tat profit making at all. The rings are all sold cheaply in AH, so are the earrings and making gold ingots will yield usually little profit for that few hundred thousand gil you are going to spend making it. Not forgetting from lvl 50 onwards, a failure in synthesis of gold ingot can cost you up to 40k gil.

The best way for GS to make gil at low and mid lvl is either to make lots of silver and mithril ingots or the synthesising of HQ gems and rings.
