    Are there any high level foods after 70? Any that are useful?

    My current cooking is 38, and I plan to raise my skills high enough to make yagudo drinks and melon pies for myself. It started more as a LONG term saving thing.

    Does cooking make any money at all? I tried selling juices I've made. It seems most NA players don't want to spit up the gil for Foods and most JP players already can make their own, or know of people who make their own.

    Should I max out my food skills, or start working on another guild to start making gil???

    PS: Lakshmi Players!!! I need help with genkai 1 ; ;. I can't find any helpers or PT's that are do'n it. In game name is Kaizor as well. Send a tell, leave a message. Been stuck at 50 for a week now ; ;

    Juices usually don't sell well, taking up a full slot per one item, versus carrying around some Water Crystals and ingredients.

    Not sure of the profit margins on them, but Mithkabobs, pies, and nearly any mid to high rank Seafood (the def-raising choice of PLD everywhere) sell like hotcakes.

      The only thing that have sold well on my server and have actually made me a profit is insect paste. But as you can see with the selling cost of 250-300 gil it's very hard to make a living selling those.

      Otherwise, mithkabobs,pies, and juices are being sold for under the cost of ingredients the majority of the time now. Making it seem very undesireable for me to raise my cooking past lvl 45. Although, it seems HQ synthesis of items such as mithkabobs or the seafoods sell quite nicely and actually earn you a decent profit. However, I have not been able to make any HQ synthesis at my level.

      There is also my concern of the on guild past 60 issue that I heard about, but have not confirmed yet. If I can only take 1 guild past 60, it _DEFINITELY_ will not be cooking.
