Bastok Fishing Question...

I'm a level 9 hume rdm and wondering about starting my fishing in Bastok...I'm curious if there is any freshwater in Bastok to fish for Moat Carp in.

In North Gust. there seems to be a river but I dont know if its fresh or salt...Anyone know?

In bastok markets the water by the auction house is freshwater. Bastok is mostly salt-water fish though. I would recommend buying a Glass Fiber Fishing Rod and a Sabiki Rig and heading to Port bastok to catch Quus and Sardines for the first few fishing levels.

You will lose moat carps alot and it won't be as profitable. :sweat:

Thats fine I just wanted to make sure I was able to catch carps in Bastok when I was at the right level.
