Yea i've been trying to make arrows myself for my THF. All i got is 6 bone arrowheads from 2 bone chips + wind crystals. I don't know how to make the wooden part.

Here is a link, just browse through the different guilds to see different arrows you can make. I'm not sure where chocobo feathers are found though. I just buy them.http://db.gamefaqs.com/computer/dosw...ld_recipes.txt

Try here to. You might have to guess the crystal though.http://www.ffodyssey.com/users/bishop/

Both of those sites list arrows as coming from the raw materials (i.e. wood arrow = arrowwood lumber + flint stone + chocobo feather X2 + wind crystal).

And yet choco feathers can be made into choco fletching, and I believe flint stones can be made into flint (or stone?) arrowheads. Both of which seem like fletching components to me.

So are those recipes correct? Or would you first have to make the arrowheads / fletchings first?

        Can anyone confirm?

those recipies in those sites are already correct. Yes flint+choco feather+arrowwood lumber+wind crystal = lvl 1 arrows. You can buy chocobo feathers for 2 gils)?) at the chocobo stables. Flints are obtained from worms. You can synth arrow wood lumber from arrow wood logs if you chose to do so.

I'll alsoa new updated guilding list with crystal names translated into english tonight.

Btw, on the bottom of the guilding list, there are explainations on what the japanese crystal names are.

I always make stone arrows for myself in game. It's pretty easy to do. First off you need two flint stones. Use a wind crystal on the two flint stones and you should get 6 stone arrowheads. Then you'll need the wood. The wood you need is called arrow wood lumber. It sells at the auction house for 100ish. You can actually BUY IT AT THE SHOP, in northern san d'oria, for 15gil. Use a wind crystal on the arrow wood and you'll get arrow wood lumber. Now I don't know how to get chocobo flechlings, it will be abbreviated, but sometimes you can get a dozen of them for cheap at the acuction house. Now you have everything you need to make some stone arrows. Mix together 1 stone arrow head 1 arrow wood lumber and 1 chocobo fletchling with an earth crystal and you get 33 stone arrows.

I know it sounds like a lot but do it on it in bulk whn everything is cheap!

You won't catch me buying arrows from anyone. They are real easy to make. Even when you are first starting off.

A ranger is an advanced class, gotta be level 30 to use. I'm guessing by the time someone is level thirty they'll know how to make their own arrows ^_^''' not the best market. If you want a decent cash crop i sugest Gelshba outpost. Go to a big party at gelshba and have everyone have signet on. You'll get a crap load of fire crystals from the orcs. Sell the crystals at the auction house for about 2.5k. It adds up pretty quick!~

another recipe that ive used before is
earth crystal + yagudo fletchlings + arrowwood lumber + bone arrowheads = 33 Bone arrows.

i can do this and im only lvl 5 woodworker.

you cannot use the raw yagudo feathers on this one only the fletchlings (which take a high lvl to craft)

Beetle arrows. These arrows are just awesome. Well, these and all the rest like them that add +5 ranged accuracy. I'm level 25.5 woodworking and I can make silver arrows. However, they're level 24 arrows and it's just not cost efficient to make iron arrows due the the huge price of iron arrowheads, which is due to the huge price in iron ingots, which is due, I suspect, to people both not mining and people being stupid and greedy. Plus, +5 ranged accuracy is just way too cool. Anyway, I was wondering when I'll be able to make beetle arrows and other arrows with bonuses.

                              Iron arrowheads?

I've never seen iron arrowheads anywhere.. not in the AH or in the guilds. I've seen the smithing recipe for them, but why don't I even see a placeholder for them at the AH?
