Hey guys, I'm a semi-returning player who's come back to FFXI via the trial.
I'm almost a week in and I've already completed my subjob quest on Bismark.
So far, my experience has been mixed. The game's changed a lot, mostly for the better, as I'm leveling rather briskly as compared to last time (only got to 20 or so from summer 2004 to early 2005). However, Bismark seems really deserted. Maybe it's because I haven't been to Jeuno or White Gate yet or maybe population has just declined a bit since I left.
So anyways, if anyone has some tips for someone coming back from Pre-CoP, feel free to share them, and see you in Vana'diel!
