I bought Final Fantasy a few days ago and now i have a problem with the login.FFXI-3001 is the problem. What can i do?

Can you explain a bit more? Did you register accordingly and such?

i can start POL and sometimes it will crush but a few trys later it works
than I start FFXI in POL and there i had made a chara ans now when i want to start the game with my chara the FFXI-3001 problem will stop the game

you need to provide alittle bit mroe info

what version of FFXI do you have (what box set did you buy)
and what version of Windows do you have?
also a few system specs might be good, like RAM CPU and videocard
also do you use a router and/or a firewall

I have:
1,2 Ghz
512 MB Ram
128VRam
Windows XP

and i use a router and i turn my firewall off

mmm sounds like its port settings on the router then, try logging in to FFXI, with your PC pluged right into your internet, just once, and see if it goes ok, if it does, that router is blocking ports FF needs

first I would try resetting it, just unplug it from power and wait about a min, then plug it back in, if that does not work, your going to need to look up your router, and find the port settings, all routers are different so it just depends on what brand yours is...plus i am not that good with them ;p

what do you mean whith "look up the router"? (sorry my english is not perfect^^)

take your routers model and brand, and type in into google and see if you cant find instructions on how to check your port settings

example google search:
(router name and model) port settings

okay i find a site for FFXi Port setting
but it still dont work and now there are another problem the POL has the error POL-0011
