It's an anti-spam measure. You get that message if you try to post a url when you haven't reached a certain minimum threshold of posts. I assume the number needed is 20 if you still haven't reached it yet. It succeeds at what it's intended to do but yes is very unfriendly to new users. I think AKosygin is working on a modification to the code that will result in your not losing your post whenever it takes effect.

just a clarification, it's not so much anti-spam as it is anti-(gil selling)advertisements (hence the URL filter)

I think it also happens when people try to quote someone else. I could be wrong, however.

arent there cases of someone not typing a url or anything and that happens? cause i was reading a post once(forgot which one) and they didnt but that still popped up

How would you know what they typed if the warning popped up? They probably altered it to remove a quote or URL so that they could display their post.

This may or may not be a factor, but on YouTube once, I typed "Awwww, that's so cute" or something to that effect and it said I had posted a URL. It read the "www" part of the post as a URL and thus keep you from posting it.
