Pre formatting, and tabs.

I know a lot of us are used to being able to put tabs and spaces to format our posts. Do you think we could get a symbol for tab or for space? Maybe a [pre] formating tab. I think it would help some of the guide writers out. I find that the Indent increase tags don't look as nice and make the text stand out as unatural.

How to do these in an easy way:

Go in your control panel, on the left menu you have an "Edit Options" link, clicky.

A page will open, scroll down all the way to " Miscellaneous Options".

Change "Message Editor Interface" to "Enhanced Interface"

Now reply to this thread using (normal reply link, not the quick-reply function), youll see a bunch of options to format your posts, play around with it, test it right here if you want.

Yea, they seem to add a doublespace as well as an indent... and not just in the editor. I think it looks bad. Others may not.

Any chance that we can use the special characters for tab and space in HTML?

But only 2 people have access to achieve such things, im sure they have found this thread, all that's left is to wait
