My character name is my online alias, so yes. I have friends irl who i met online that even though I've known them for years, call me Illuen =D.

Akashimo char name, Akashimo Hakubi my online alias, and I have turned in assignments with that name on some papers in high school. Also I always do think of myself as Aka, Akashimo rather than Rob/Robert. Like how Bruce calls himself Batman in his head and not Bruce.(See Batman Beyond, i think episode 7)

Akashimo, first name for my rp character and fanfic name, last name Hakubi, same as Washu and Ryoko, due to in the rp plot twists ended up being the little brother to the most fear-some space pirate and greatest scientiffic genius of the whole universe!

As for being called by Aka, or Akashimo, I have a few times due to FFXI and from writing my name on papers, but that hasn't happened in a while now. Its hard to get known by something which isn't my legal name offline D=

Well we have even guideline about using r/l names on our ls since this is role playing game. That being said its kinda weird on ventrillo or xbl when we only use the char names instead. I had one of ls members come to visit the house once and yep it was hard after 4 years to say anything but the char names. To answer the question nope I dont mix me up with Tebian but man I do others, even my brother in family conversations gets stuck with his char name sometimes.
