Dante likely won't make it in (much as I'd love to tear up Link's ass with him) since he mixes guns and swords, and we all know what nintendo likes to do with gun characters (- . - Snake would easily off every last one of them save Samus)

If Mega Man is in it'll probably be Classic Mega Man rather than X (more cartoony, better known, has already appeared in MvC and MvC2). But if Zero is in it'll probably be Mega Man Zero's Zero (the change in art direction is probably indicative that if Inafune could start over again, he'd probably have done it this way; and MMZ Zero has already appeared as a playable fighter in Onimusha Blade Warriors.)

Ryu would be cool, and while doable, I think he's better off in Street Fighter while letting Mega Man/Zero represent Capcom. But Shinku Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku for a Final Smash WOULD be cool.

I somehow knew they were holding out on us and would announce Sonic closer to release. Well given the Mario and Sonic Olympics game coming out, I guess it shouldn't be a surprise anyway.

Sooo stoked to get a Wii for this.

I want more Nintendo and Sega collaborations.

None shall speak ill of rockman! That said, Capcom better get in on this with 1 of 4 characters:

Rockman (Company Mascot, classic/iconic character and easily recognized. The question is which version? Original or X?)

Zero (Also bad ass, even got his own series)

Ryu (Final Smash: SHINKU TATSUMAKI SENPUU KENKYAKU!)

Dante (Not very likely but hey, it's Dante. Screw Nero!)



EDIT: Sierra 117 would be a very, very sweet addition, but he'd just get the same stupid treatment Snake did (why is a laser gun ok but real guns bad? What the hell are they gonna do when actual laser guns exist? They're working on them now!!!)

As for the Chief vs Aran argument: tough call. Both are bad ass and well trained (Chief more so. He's not called "the demon" for nothing) but it comes down to two things. Chief definitely has her beat on training and experience, but Samus has better bull shit super tech and weaponry (What's chief gonna do in the face of the ice beam?) Of course, my friend loves to argue that all Chief really has to do (and keep in mind he's supposed to be so fast that his movements are a blurr) is pop one good 50 cal sniper round into her dome and it's over :3

But then he's also in the military and as such the Chief just speaks to him in a way most characters don't. Professional bad ass Super Soldier ftw

Holy hell, they did an excellent job with Sonic's moves and his Final Smash is going Super Sonic. And they used Live and Learn for the movie. I think I just melted.If Knuckles makes it to this game his only reason for being in the Subspace Emissary would be because he thinks Sonic stole the emeralds for 1000th time.
That aside I'm sure more people wanted Sonic in than Knuckles.

I wouldn't mind a bad ass defense attorney like Wright on my side, but unless he's got some R.O.D. powers, I'd rather have someone packing a Mega/Hyper/X-Buster and made of sterner stuff than a snazzy three-piece in a fight like this.

Either works overall, but some situations call for specialists.

But now that we finally can pit Mario against Sonic, that leaves on big fanboy battle unaccounted for.

Samus versus Master Chief. Not that I expect this to happen, but then, Nintendo isn't entirely a stranger to playing host to MS games these days. Its rare, but it does happen from time to time. I seriously doubt it ever will, though.
