    Argh?
    Is Feba Charlie Brown?

Whole Foods Markets ROCKS! Been to the one in Santa Fe a few times. We don't have one here, but the local grocery chain is starting to expand their organic section. So very much worth it. The organic milk I've found here lasts a month and organic beef is next to godliness. The steaks we got from Whole Foods were the best I've ever had.
One thing that got me about the store was that its supposed to be about health, and yet I saw three for four people walking around the store with their dogs. (Ofcourse it is the Santa Fe branch).
    Organic Beer is awesome, too.

As for pizza here, we're pretty much stuck with the regular chains (pizza hut is vile shit, btw) and a couple local places whichare a lot better but I rarely get to eat at.
Does anyone else have a Pizza Patron? 7 bucks for a specialty pizza is where its at.

Murphie is into organic. Is Murphie a Treehugger? I did some shopping in Whole Foods before, and it's one of the most over priced places you could do shopping ever. $50 bucks worth of food lasting only 2 days. (Egg Salad Sandwich and some other junk.)

I did eat there once with my g/f and our family, and our bill easily ran up to $80 bucks for 4 people. (This is gathering food from the salad bar and a Teriyaki Eel Bowl.)

I think Trader Joe's is cheaper and offers the same if not better items for less.

Feba's right on with Costco. For the price and the food, Costco food is totally worth it.

We're getting a Costco built next to our work place (literally behind our office). I'm so treating everyone in our office to Costco food. Free samplers for everyone!

As do I, but it's the only movie I can think of that actually takes place in Kansas. Or at least prominently mentions Kansas in any real significant way.

So head's up everyone, the new running joke of FFXIO is that Feba lives in lolKansas.

    LOLKANSAS!

Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore!!!

I was going to do a shitty Photoshop of them in like, Tavnazia or something like that, but making a joke at Feba's expense that takes more than like, 20 seconds isn't really worth it.

I do most of my grocery shopping at Whole Foods and Fresh Market, so we're probably working from a different idea of what is "better."

The first place I ever did freelance web programming for was a local pizza place (set them up with online ordering), a little mom and pop restaurant with the best calzones ever. I so could have lived off of those things all through college.

They couldn't pay our bill entirely in cash, so my roomy and I got paid partially in a few hundred dollars' worth of gift certificates. Which was fine with me.

Until the owner packed the whole place up, drove everything to Illinois, and then disappeared overnight. Apparently the IRS was after him.

yes, and most of the local food options here are indeed shit.

But, Costco's food is still better than any of the other stores, and I really doubt their selection is much different on a national scale.

I think a lot of people just haven't had really good pizza made with fresh ingredients. So I can't blame them for not knowing what they are missing.

Murphie, I must disagree. Costco has the stigma of wholesale, but they really have some great stuff.

I think it is their sauce I am not a huge fan of. And their crust. Which is why I like their thin crust so much.
