Torrents in Europe

I have always been a fan of .torrent for my downloading needs, but for some reason that is beyond me it doesn't seem to work here in Iraq. Any recommendations from those that live on this side of the Atlantic? Is there a setting I need to tweak, or do you have any other programs you would recommend? Thanks!

I'd like to take a moment to point out that Iraq isn't really considered within Europe.

I didn't even know they had internet in Iraq.

I'd like to take a moment to point our that our satellite internet is routed through London, and google comes up "google.co.uk"

Thus, I am pretty sure that whatever works for them will work for me.

Have you tried encrypting bitorrent? ISPs blocking it aren't really very rare.
