Oh I liked them and watched all of them and bought all of them on BluRay. lol Sci-fi + action = THE WIN in my book. I'm one of those people that starts watching a B movie and just can't stop because I'm mesmerized! I'll go see it and I'll buy it but they really are train wrecks waiting to happen. lol

You can thank Warner Bros. for that. If they'd just let him have his way with the 3rd Batman Movie... oh well.

And Fuck P.W. Anderson & the RE Movies. At least Degeneration was tolerable, but that didn't have his stink on it (was made by Capcom thank gawd)

RE "the movies" found it's calling after the 2nd one. Disclaimer::: I like them all, action movie is action movie, plot be damned, i just wanna see a rocket blow something up.
But when they stopped trying to make the movie exactly like the video game, and instead just make a movie about a evil company that creates a deadly virus that runs amuck, and the few un-infected (or infected but special case) who try to stand up to said company, was when they did alright by me.

Everyone's got their opinion, but I think it's people expectations that let them down, not nescessarialy the movies themselves.

I went and saw "clash of Liam Nesson in shiny ass silver armor vs. a balding ralph feines in a smokey cloud" and If you were expecting a good movie, like i was, you'd be let down. Hell, my friends said even the 3d was shitty, (i had no frame of refrence as this took my 3d virginity) but after reading about it, the 3d in this was added after the fact, instead of integrated as it was in Avatar, and in the upcoming RE:After Life. I saw that preview in 3d, and that 2 mins alone got me fucking excited! Alone to be followed by horrible inacuracies when dealing with greecian histories, along with horrible plot development, character sustainment, etc. Sorry to suedo de-rail, but I had to get that warning out there.

Also I was amazed that everyone here didn't like RE 1-3. I thought they were all pretty decent movies (definetly relegated to those lazy sat/sun afternoons where the Network just needs filler so they throw them on cause they know people like my ass will watch them, I.E. the original clash of the titans)

Ya this is me too. Like a geek to a flame...

And DAMN IT, 3D movies mean NOTHING to me....I sit there with those stupid glasses on and watch it in 2D. If I leave the glasses off then I get a headache and I always get dragged to see them in 3D too..../sigh

I don't know about you guys, but I really like RE1 and 3, as well as the first half of 2. Granted, the second half of 2 was god awful, but the series of movies have been pretty good so far.

Degeneration was also quite good, so hopefully they get better and better at making RE movies.

Clearly, someone is going to see these movies, because the Resident Evil movies have done well enough to get this far along.

Personally, I'm more worried about what other childhood classic Tim Burton intends to destroy next.

Atleast Ali Larter is in it? Its gonna suck, you know that. Thought it was funny that the text in the trailer talked more about the 3d tech than the movie itself.

Despite how disappointed in these movies I am, I will probably end up seeing this anyway.. It'll be in 3D, which I haven't grown to like though..
Working...
