      He said he did a mix. When he was impatient he held down the button. <_< Told him if he does it again, I'll fagslap him.

        OK, I'll bite - is that worse than being bitch-slapped?

              Set up his laptop's power button to hibernate; it's faster than going to the Windows button or that Win8 what's-the-name menu. (I set mine to sleep, but I reconnect it to power every day.)
              Bamboo shadows sweep the stars,
              yet not a mote of dust is stirred;
              Moonlight pierces the depths of the pond,
              leaving no trace in the water.

                  I'm replacing my stock fans, most notably removing the side fan which can only be intake and doesn't do shit but redirect the exhausted heat from my 670 back to it. Anyone know how much difference in CFM intake/outtake it has to be in order to get positive pressure? So far its 13+ intake vs out.

                    10% difference in CFM I believe ... the "pull" should be less than the "push". Don't quote me on this, but that's just from what I've picked up around.

                      How can a fan only be intake? If you flip it around, isn't then an exhaust fan?

                        This is now my official all encompassing computer/technology thread. Anyways, have to write a paper on a new network technology. Any thoughts?

                          Your best bet is to head over to arstechnica.com and go over their recent networking-related news articles. If you want to also delve into the whole NSA/Bitcoin/Anonymous/Net-Neutrality areas of that encompassing field, go right on ahead, but you haven't given us something specific on what it is your writing about.

                            Will have to check out that website. However, all he said is the paper has to be on "a new network technology," which I assume he means things like VoLTE. I'll probably just do 5G and focus on its capacity issues due to the dwindling spectrum space.

                              Even if it's just "a new network technology", it'd mean very different thing coming out of the mouth of a part-time instructor teaching an introduction to computer class versus, say, a professor conducting a graduate survey course on network topologies.

                                Sadly, this instructor isn't very eloquent with his words. So, I'll just wing it. lmao
