Basically. Except in that case it's probably not too hard to disprove the theory of the polka-dot elephants in space.

    ------

    No they aren't.
Well, they probably aren't actually. Come to think of it. People are mostly stupid in every aspect of life. Computers are dangerous.

I'll be interested to see what proof could possibly sway your opinion.

Don't think I've ever came across actual "anti-FF" people, unless you mean those who don't like Final Fantasy series of games.
That's cute. But there's plenty of IE fanboys out there that think FF is just the next internet fad or something. I think you fail to give enough credit to internet users these days. The days of mom 'n pop on the internet emailing the kids is dwindling. People are become more and more tech-savvy every year. I'd say it's a pretty good estimate to say that at least 45% of internet users today know the difference between IE and FF.

    Edit:

I think that's MFSA 2008-05, a "high" impact bug, which I guess isn't as bad as "critical" ones such as MFSA 2008-06 (Web browsing history and forward navigation stealing) or MFSA 2008-03 (Privilege escalation, XSS, Remote Code Execution) or MFSA 2008-01 (Crashes with evidence of memory corruption).

Link to Mozilla (Firefox) Security Advisories, for those interested.
