ok to those who have been playing more then me, I want to join the grand company that will benefit my Lancer the most, which would that be?

I believe that would be the Maelstrom, but I'll try to put a little effort into checking.

Mooglebox used to make searching by source easy, but not anymore. Lancer weapons are obtainable through Limsa Lominsa.

It only matters at the moment which one you join in terms of weapons/armor. That was the original idea behind it, but they stated in the live Q&A that they'll be reworking the item rewards for all GC's to make them balanced.

(Although, personally, I do like The Maelstrom the best.)

I'm leaning on them as well, if only because I'm already from LL so why would I ally with a company from another city? Just means more traveling.

Besides, while I love ARC, eventually we WILL get Guns, and which city is the Musketeer class home to?

So for GLA that means Uldah? Eh ... I don't like the lag fest at the gates, but I'll tolerate it, I guess. I just absolutely hate traversing Uldah and that mean SOB out front gets my blood boiling (unless they finally gave him the boot to an appropriate zone)
