Here's more criticism: that kind of attitude towards common opinion is another thing that turns people off. Good luck having a successfull dictatorship. I mean linkshell.

Yes it is. Coming into a thread and telling people not to discuss a rule about said LS, thats been publicly posted, because they don't agree with the discussion, even though it is a civil conversation going on, is trolling.



I could give a rats ass if you disagree with me, I'm sick and tired of people coming into threads and telling people not to civilly discuss something. A forum is just that...a place for discussion. If someone posts something and then cries because people discuss it, thats just moronic. No one is telling anyone to change anything, people are saying "from their experiences" they disagree with this rule because <insert reason here>. If the OP didn't want his rules to be discussed than he should have just posted his in game name (or names of people to get in contact with), server, and ls name. Then people could contact them in game, discuss play style, and if they felt that the person might fit then they could give them the ls link. That way discussion about the rules wouldn't be an issue. Post them and they get discussed and as long as the discussion is civil, and it is, there is nothing wrong with talking about it and posting opinions.

I am a she not a he btw. Furthermore if you dont like the rules dont join, but as for how we run our ls that is not up for discussion. If I wanted to talk about what we should or shouldn't do I would have made a thread specifically for that. I made a recruitment thread to recruit people. Not to sit here and argue about how much you like or dislike our linkshell.

So please I ask you, if you are not willing to keep your comments about how we run our ls to yourselves then by all means dont post in my thread.

The rules were posted to inform people of them before they go through the effort of contacting any of the officers in game. The way we run our linkshell was not the reason behind why I posted our C.O.C. We are looking for very specific people hence the reason why they are there. This is also to save them time and us time. We dont want to sit there and go through our Ls rules with every joe and jane that wants to inquire about joining. We have things to do to ya know?

I dont mean to rain on anyone's parade, not to say anything anyone said was invalid. I just dont want it being discussed in my thread. So just go make a thread discussing the pro's and con's of using teamspeak/vent.

You post something on a public forum and then tell people not to talk about it. Seriously? Well guess what, people are going to so thats something to remember the next time you do it. It was a perfectly civil discussion but was only turned ugly by people coming in and telling others to shut up. If you don't want the rules of your ls discussed then don't post them. It's perfectly valid to discuss anything that you posted, whether you like it or not. Everyone has opinions and not all of them are the same.
