I swear if I knew before hand about this shit I wouldn't have bothered with the game at all.

All the shit they pulled we forgave and gave them the "its beta/its work in progress" excuses and now this?

After doing some research, the only traps involved are the payment methods to actually funding this game. SE has actually managed to take a step back from PlayOnline by using some crappy, shady, ass-tastic third party billing company which forces you to spend money to buy points to pay for the actual game. Seriously, wtf is up with the ClickAndBuy crap? Why not option that simply goes "Here's my card, take my money, let me play the game"?

insane ? No, no one told you to play 2 MMO at the same time. For example, my plans for FFXI per month will not exceed more then 30 hours a month. Actually i only log in maybe 1-2 day just to do some abyssea and level or finish up some WOTG here and there.

I use to play 3 MMORPG at the same time, i adjust myself so i play 2 at the same time @ most, as i don't like wasting my luxury time.

Collector edition give you a "token" which cost about 10 bucks already and now that 7 bucks if you planning to keep your FFXI account going.

So you got 17$ bucks off and play early. I am sure 7$ is nothing compare to all of us but knowing it as a fact will relive some stress out.

Do you remember how people get stress out knowing they got double billed when they re-subscribe without knowing that their billing stack up. I am just giving you guys the warning ahead of the game.

Watch some players come in and start yelling "hey my discount is not accounted for SE, wtf wrong with your billing system" I am sure no one want to call them, since it is long distance.

I don't think anyone ever goes "WTF where is my $7 went" no matter how frustrated they are. All I see here is that the people that buy the CE get extra discount off FFXI for one month. They also get to start a week before you do. Why, this is a conspiracy of the highest order.

Really, there's nothing collectible about a collector's edition of an MMORPG, they had to give them some kind of perk, though.

- A discount most won't use, as subscribing to two MMOs is a true mark of insanity
- Dork boots you can run fast in, eventually they will be passed out to everyone in some in-game event.
- The ability to transfer your name and server together as one name so FFXI people know to avoid you.

Also you're confusing me?

It is a trap! It gives people who got CE have another 7$ bonus (unknowingly) toward it vs non-CE user (who thought they could get that 7 bucks discount on November but can't).

If you don't it is then change that title for me to something you think it is appropriate.

This definitely going to help explain some confusion coming up soonish when people receive their bill and goes "WTF where is my 7$ went"
