After several hours of playing, I'm rather interested in seeing how the game will play out. I haven't noticed any glaring problems, though I'm still confusing about several things like forming parties and some UI stuff, though I'm sure the manual that ships with the game will cover that. Only thing I don't really like is how hard it can be to target some things, and the lack of an auction house.

The first leve was horribly easy. My only issue with it was I couldn't attack until my HP was down to half. (Kept getting some random error.) Even then, it wasn't all too hard. o_o I was in Uldah (or whatever it is), though.

The fungi spreads poison cloud with dot component. I tried engaging it unlocked so I could run, but to no avail. なんしﾞゃこれわ！？！？(　｀д´)

Epic battles that either leaves you near death or you do die a lot. They need to adjust the difficult for solo because that's just still too difficult for a FIRST guildleve quest. I also note you don't get to do it again if you fail to complete it. So frustrating.

it's an mmorpg anyway, no matter how solo friendly, it's smarter and better to party up!

I think I'm done with the beta. It's fun, but it's incomplete and a little dull. I guess I could run more guildleves, but I dunno. I wanted to jump into crafting, but the recipes require ridiculous materials. I can't find any place to purchase a shield or a better weapon, or anything else.

Beyond the nice graphics I got bored quite quickly. I am planning to put together a concise report on all the problems I've noticed, which is a lot. However, I doubt any fixes will be made before the game is published. They'll need to address it in future patches. But this is my big concern. With this much problem, the patch, even if you get the game disc, will be fracking huge on Day 1 and if all the torrenting issues is any indication, I wonder how frustrated players will be on that day?

They also need to do something about some of these guildleves. You know the one in Gridania, if you only participate in the forced battles during the opening scene to get to Level 2, you get one from "Mother" in the ADV guild. Well, this takes you to a camp outside of the city and again, just going through the motions and not touching stuff on the way (Not like there's any monsters to attack, they're all camped) you go to this camp and get this quest.

Agreed. It's open beta, and I'm going to use this opportunity to make my final decisions on where to start and what to start as before launch. That's about it...
