TGM, I know there's a lot of new stuff flying around right now, but are there any plans to update the http://www.ffxionline.com/forums/ffx...formation.html?

I'm sad there's no THF. -.- Oh well, Archer's abilities sound pretty cool. Probably do that, or Lancer.

It would be interesting to see what "sub-class" abilities you choose, seeing as you can change your main class on the fly so easily.

Not XI like sub-jobs, but they've said repeatedly that players could gain access to abilities and spells from other classes they've leveled while on a different class somehow. Meaning if you level Gladiator and Conjurer, you could somehow gain spells and such from Conjurer while playing as your Gladiator. Or at least that's my understanding of the system.

Conjurer only seems to get one (Tranquility - Suppress your sense and gaze in ward, evoking the power to recover MP) but chances are, they could get access to Thaumaturge abilities and spells to sub as well.

    They confirmed sub-classes?

Aetherye crystals and nodes restore MP. and I think there will be abilities that might recharge some MP.

At the very least it should cut down on the "XxxSephiroth" idiots and people who intentionally misspell names.
    [Tell]
Any message input in the tell chat mode can be seen only by a single designated player. Messages displayed in this manner appear in pink. This chat mode is activated by prefacing a message with /tell or simply /t . The active chat mode cannot be set to tell mode. During the Alpha Test phase, PC names must be entered in their entirety (first and last names).

What you're remembering is the April Fools joke explanation.

I don't want to make 2 accounts for Melee and Magic.
They say it's not available in the beta right now but most likely will happen in the full game. If there's one thing SE doesn't seem to do with their MMOs, it's make it so you can't change your mind.

Pretty damn awesome. Love the fact there's no more loading times, well, not obvious ones anyway! Glee!
Yea, Ryzom makes me think of it as well. Your physical level was your highest skill you where when you had a weapon equipped. So if you equipped a dagger and had a skill lvl 5, and you had a skill lvl of 30 with a sword, your actual level was lvl 5 because of a dagger was equipped.
