I have looked into the future and seen that FFXIV will require a 100 core Pentium 60 with 128MB L2 Cache, A 1 TB FSB, 4TB RAM, 1PB HDD, not counting space for expansions, and no less then a 1Gb/s ethernet connection for network access. Your system doesn't even come close.

You've got a nice chunk of RAM and a decently new GFX card and CPU, so you might be fine. But we won't know until we get our hands on official specs or a beta or even a benchmark.Leave a comment:

PC vs PS3
ok so im rocking a gateway P-7807 FX laptop, so far its done great with FFXI, WoW, and Warhammer all on full blast, but lets face it those games arent next gen graphics. So what i'm wondering is, will the game preform faster on my PS3 that is built specifically to run it, or will i be ok with the games graphics cranked sky high on the pc and still c no lag or delay in everyday play? I dont use mods or anything, and the interface is supposed to be fully customizable, i just favored my laptop before b/c i could play wherever.
