So should I 'assume' that my summoned avatars have capped Def, atk, acc, etc. ? I don't see anything on the linked page that says anything about if your skill is lower then the cap? ...All the linked page says is info about Elementals, Duration of aibilies and effects. I need info on the Avatars stats...


Basically if my Summoned skill is lower then capped will the Level and/or stats (Def, acc, Atk) of my avatars be lower then if my skill was capped?

Your avatars stats and abilities are based solely on your SMN level.

To add to the usefulness of summoning magic skill with the implementation of Avatar's Favor.

Avatar's Favor Effects (Tested on Killingifrit summoner forums) softcap at 75 seconds of Avatar uptime.
Having 48 skill over the cap however increases the buff one more increment at 85 seconds.
(Tested at level 75 at 317 summoning magic skill.)

Taking Diabolos' Favor as an example:

The soft cap for Diabolos' favor is 3 MP per tick refresh after 75 seconds.
Having 317 or more summoning magic skill will increase the refresh effect with one more increment at 85 seconds to a total of 4MP per tick!
That my friends, paired with his Dream Shroud buff is a happy BLM party!

As adding a higher skill then 317 has not yet proven it to increase the effect this is assumed to be the hard cap.
(Tested by people that have the currently maximum obtainable summoning magic skill (351))

Further testing is needed, but it seems that not having summoning magic skill capped caps the Avatar's favor buffs earlier and of course at lower strength.
