1.7 Million Gil what do I do?

I outlined some of this in another post, but my question is this. I have nearly 1.7 million Gil which is enough for a Haubergeon on my server. Would it be better to buy two Sniper Rings and maybe a bomb core and use AF given the rising price of Sniper Rings, which could be a million apiece very soon, or buy the Haubergeon?

Gicen the increase in ring rates, my first thought is to buy the Haubergeon as the Thick Armor series would make the +10 from the Sniper Rings unnecessary. But if I consider them an investment, I could nearly double my money in a short time. Thanks to Femtos for pointing out that Haubs are fairly stable in price whereas rings are getting out of control.

I would get a Haubergeon, since I believe Snipers are amazingly over-rated, or, if you have enough, just buy a Hauberk, so you get it while the price rockets on them.

Look at it this way - if you can only afford one, its

STR+5 DEX+5 attack+10 acc+10

vs

acc+10 def-20



Take your pick Not to mention with haubergeon you can use STR rings, so you can have even more STR.

imho, order of importance:

Hauberk > Sniper Rings > Bomb Core & Amemet Mantle > STR Rings > Other Accuracy or Attack Gear (assault earring, celata) > Absorb-DEX

You can get the STR rings and such to swap out for Weapon Skills, but you can also buy a 10k Spike Necklace to use for weapon skills. The additional 10 accuracy from the sniper rings does make a difference at lv.70. I guess it probably begins to have no point around the time that you reach lv.75 or get an Optical Hat. But at lv.70 it's about a 5% accuracy difference without my Sniper Rings (when I forget to change back to after a skillchain).

get a hauberk, that's staple. have 2 or 3 sets of armor. 1 for +acc, 1 for str, and 1 for magic. in xp pt it's usually good idea to use +acc to fight, and +str to WS.
