Theory for making Uber BLM/RDM that you could help me with.

Okay I don't have the game yet, will soon. So I don't know everything, so tell me if this would not work.

But theoretically, if I go BLM and sub RDM, couldn't I use Magic Pool and Continual Magic at the same time?

And then at high levels just stand back and let fly an insane barrage of spells??!!

No those are both 2 hrs and you can only use the 2 hr of your main job and not your sub. So your plan would not work.

Okay, so you can use all the time determined abilities of the sub job except for the big 2 hour ones then?

Looks like you "would" be able to learn convert, but its lvl 41...your main would have to be lvl 82 before your sub could have convert as an ability.

Obviously impossible atm.

Dosen't Rdm sub also give the highest INT boost?

Yea, RDM has more INT than WHM, and yes you'd also be able to use Convert at lvl BLM82/RDM41 unless S-E puts some cap on it... or something...
