PlayOnline Error 12321

Hello,
I just made my playonline account, and installed Final Fantasy XI.
I was about to start playing, but when i pressed play. It tried to Update, and instead i got this error message.

Version Update Communication Error
Error code: POL - 12321
An unexpected problem occurred persistent problems can be reported from Service & Support.

Has anyone else ever experienced this error?
Please help.

This is the only reference I can find for this particular (and bizarre) error.

Have you tried calling PlayOnline Support? They probably have a record of this error and can help you with it.

yeah i already looked at that website.
and unfortunately Playonline support is up for another 3 hours.
