Re: Please help with Nostromo N52 Profile for FFXI
If you know how to program a profile you can just create the following macros.
This is how I have mine set. note is it very important that when you make your macro you set the order so that the second key pressed is released before the first key pressed is released
example control 1 should look like this
control press
delay .05
1 press
delay .05
1 release
delay.05
control release
This will keep your button presses from overriding each other if you are pressing multiple macro's in a sequence, and also keep them from activating your chat window.
n52 Keyboard buttons
no shift
control # with .05 delay for the delays
Repeat for rest of top row, and middle row so first 10 buttons are control 1-0
Third row I have a combination of just keyboard key's and macro. From left to right all in normal shift
Tab, Control C(macro), esc, control a(macro)
Dpad is your numpad movement keys.
The flat thumb button under the dpad is set to * on the numpad
The middle click of the wheel is set to - on the numpad
The orange thumb button above the dpad is set to activate red shift by holding
In red shift the first two rows of the keyboard that were set to control macro's are now alt macros. Nothing else changed for red shift.
Re: Please help with Nostromo N52 Profile for FFXI
what do you have assigned to button five?
If I remember the layout right that should be the top most right button on the keyboard and should be a control 5 macro.
If your having problems just set it to one of your other control macros, then go in and edit it and replace the number press with 5.
Also you might try opening the software and just pressing that button and checking if the button lights up on the diagram. make sure the button is working and all.
