Help! Problems logging on.

Ok, yesterday I updated the POL update that was ready in the morning and then logged on to play. Around 5est I logged off. My linkshell was scheduled to do the Ark Angels BCNM fight at 9est so I tried to log in at around 8:20est or so so that I could start heading to sky. After I input my password, it came up "Checking PlayOnline Viewer version..." and stayed there for 2-3 minutes and finally gave a POL-0020 error.

Error Code: POL-0020
The DNS server is not responding. Please try again later, or verify that all cables, networking devices, and network settings are properly connected and configured.

I continued to click retry for the next 2 hours until I finally gave up on it for the night. Today I logged on, hoping the problem would have been resolved, and much to my dismay it wasn't. I tried to reinstall PlayOnline hoping it would fix the problem and it got to the step where it needs to connect to the internet to authenticate something for the installation process, and it showed a bar identical to the one when you are connecting to POL and it said "Authenticating..." but never got past 1/3 of the amount of the bar. Gave this error message.

Error Code: POL-1558
An Authentication Error has occurred.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? I haven't changed any settings on my PC/Router/etc and no one I have talked to is having problems logging on.
