Well, at least now I can comfortably warp back to Sandy and not have to get pissed about needing to go to Jeuno 1st for Stones & Warps.

Also, maint just got extended 1 hour.
Yeah, that was pretty much inevitable.

And I'm sure most people will still gather in Port Jeuno for the shouts.

The exodus of mules in Jeuno back to their respective nations will probably do much more for congestion than these new npcs ever would.

That being said, I think it would be awesome if Heavens Tower became the new gathering spot for Abyssea activity. All it needs is a Nomad moogle and a Home Point Crystal.

Upper Jeuno? Oh well, that's always been my favorite "quiet zone" anyhow.

    Jerrett, Kierron Heavens Tower, Windurst
Bastards. If I have to walk that far, I'm just leaving my HP in PJ.

    Several new synergy recipes
    *couth*synergyisfail*cough*

Additional equipment items obtainable with Imperial Standing
As if anyone (other than Besieged addicts) has IS anymore. And what rank will you need? As if people do assaults anymore, even the few they used to spam constantly for points.

have been added, along with new attachments obtainable as rewards for completing the ENM quest "Pulling the Strings."
So the new attachments are being added to that BCNM? I guess it makes sense, but I hope they do like Dynamis and put the new stuff in a separate drop group instead of diluting existing drops.

The Goblin firework vendor NPCs Kindlix and Pyropox have set up shop in Port Jeuno (J-7).
lolwut? Yeah, we've really been nagging SE for more places to buy freaking fireworks. But it was probably a minor effort, so whatever.

The following items can now be kept in stacks of 12. (insert Aby NM pop items here)
They said they were going to make something stackable. But I don't think they specifically said what. This change seems like a good idea, since some of those can get dropped like crazy... and some people would like to pop 'em like crazy too.

The following items have had their enchantment effect recast times shortened to 1 hour.
Took me a moment to realize this was recast times. Treat Staff II? Hell yeah! But no Tavnazia Ring or Olduum Ring?

The following items have had their enchantment effect recast times shortened to 20 hours.
    Wonder Maillot +1 etc.
Not that I need to go to Purgonorgo very often, but that's nice.

Trainee's Spectacles / Trainee Axe / Trainee Hammer / Trainee Burin / Trainee Scissors / Trainee's Needle / Trainee Gloves / Trainee Sword / Trainee Knife
I might even do some of those quests now. Not that I could use any of those trainee items anymore.

[quote]Signet effect durations have been increased by three hours across the board. The maximum possible duration remains unchanged at 15 hours.[quote]
    Nice... I guess.

When conducting currency exchange with either the NPC Ugrihd (Aht Urhgan Whitegate) or Awaheen (Nashmau), players may now specify the Imperial coin of their choice as well as the quantity desired.
Can we trade coins UP to larger denominations yet?

The new text command "/blockhelp" has been added.
This command allows players to toggle on and off the ability to bring up the "Call for Help" button in the command menu. The default setting for this command is on; logging out of the game will revert this setting to default.
Not sure if want. So will people actually have to type that in to be able to use CFH now?

Seriously, if they wanted to keep it consistent with the other nations they would have at least put it in port. Otherwise, near the fountain in Woods would have made the most sense (close to an AH, gate guards, Whitegate NPC, the port zone which is right next to the moghouse and airship and OP teleport NPC). As it is, their location is ridiculous.

At least in Bastok I can zone between Port and Mines and access all of those features fairly easily. Same with Port and North Sandoria.

There are tons of excuses to go in there... if you do any of the storylines. Though I do agree that it's a pretty nifty place, that aspect wore off for me midway through Windy's missions. That really is one of the main reasons I'm very glad to be done with them. I totally agree with this sentiment:

Well, I'm glad to be back in Sandy...

Can't wait to be able to play again!
I cried a little about this when I saw the Abyssea NPCs were in the damn Tree. Everybody else has their NPCs in Port, but nooooooo~! They needed a reason for people to freak'n go into Windy Walls, so they put it there. That's annoying and obnoxious.

Oh, ok then. Good to know. It read that way, but coming from FFXIV it wouldn't surprise me if SE did something like that. As long as it's only text though, no big deal.

It's merged, but the dialog from the NPCs still says it isn't. Nothing to worry about.

So now that I'm home and can see the update in full I gotta say that this new Forum posts for release notes format they've taken to is pretty goddamn lame.

Glad I'm not in Windy anymore. HT is so out of the way, imo.
On the other hand the place is awesome and there aren't enough excuses to go in there.
