90exp for EP is probably going to speed things up. I'm going to start leveling BST tonight because of it.

Do you know if EM is still the trigger requirement for exp chaining or have they given some slack for that? You should be able to easily handle EM/T as BST and chain them for a bigger boon on the bonus especially with the changes. Can't say the same for other classes (okay, maybe SMN might be able to take care of themselves as well)

I just leveled BST from 1-10 in about 1h 15 minutes.

Did this include that thingy (Please forgive me, I have been out of the loop for so long, but it's like leves in FFXIV ... in the beginner zones you got to do some "missions" every 24 hours for boon to exp and the patch removed the cooldown off this)

This wasn't said and I highly doubt it, but did they increase the skill rate of crafting? That skill rate is raised in much the same way except they are not (obviously) battle-related. Kind of wondered if they changed it somehow inadvertently without meaning to. That would be pretty awesome, as much as I doubt it.

I just spent an hour and a half in Sky working on a few of my skills. I went in as 90NIN/45DNC and planned on skilling up Katana, Evasion, Parry and Ninjitsu. All of those skills are around 220 with the exception of Parry which I have no idea how to skill-up at a faster pace. After an hour of only killing birds near the zone entrance, I managed to get 12 skills in Katana, 8 in evasion, 2 in Parry and 17 in Ninjitsu.

All I did was set my Taru into attack, Hojo and Jubaku the bird, Utsu myself... Haste Samba when I had the TP and used Blade: Jin when I got over 100TP. When any of the buffs wore, I recast and kept going. I managed to kill about 30 birds in the time I was there and the skills seemed to come a little higher and a little faster. I was also getting 120 Limit Points/kill.

All in all I'd say that the increase in skill gain is noticable and definately faster than it was before. I'd have to fight some things that are considered EP for my skill cap to be sure of the exact increase. Once I get above 300 points in any of those skills, I'll do more research into the exact rate of increase.

i try not to use xp rings unless i know i'll finish it. so no ring and no sig either (if that matters).

Everything i was fighting was borderline TW. Level 42 is the highest you can do pages in qufim. Even then most of the pugils are TW and you'll have to find the lucky high level one to finish the page.

I was on my 42 Dnc/bst in qufim. Exp per kill was 80-120. Everything EP. It was pretty nice.

With or without a ring on? If that was without... I'm leveling RDM. End of story.

Kudos for accomplishing that. And I'm dead serious when I say I'm jealous as hell now.

There's 3 things I've been begging her to do.

-Invite the girl next door over for a threesome
-Play FFXI with me
-Get a better job so I can become a stay at home husband/dad

I swear I'm gonna get one of them one of these days.

I'm happy to say I've achieved 2/3 of those objectives :D

Now I don’t play much during the day or evenings. Pretty much at night when the wife goes to bed…unless she wants sexy time. I don’t play ffxi during sexy time. I’ve had to fake DC on important things many times because of sexy time…i like sexy time, don’t want that tto end.
